Customer Reviews
Great Toy!
We purchased this toy for my 6 year old daughter- it is amazing! She adores her and the interaction is incredible! The only concern is losing the play peices so, we have a baby bag for her to avoid that- she was worth every cent! She is still "learning" my daughter is in awe and we are incredibly pleased!
Price between White and Ethnic dolls
My niece loved her Amazing Amanda doll. Now that she's older, she wants the Amazing McKayla doll. If it makes her happy, I'll get it, but I have to admit I'm very disappointed that the ethnic doll is $25.00 more expensive than the white doll. This was the same three years ago when we purchased Amazing Amanda. The playmates toys website lists
Toys R Us, KB Toys, Target, and Walmart as carriers for the product. The difference between price and race are also a concern at those stores...and you're lucky if you can find an ethnic Amazing doll at those locations. Can anyone make any sense of this?
fast fading fun
This was magical when my daughter (6 yr old) first opened it up. But the doll doesn't respond very well. My wife and I joke that it is a deaf baby (no offense meant), because you practically have to yell at it to even hear you, and if there is back ground noise it is almost impossible for it to hear you. It also cries without end. It started out as an interesting novelty, but now our little 1 year old is the only one that will play with it, but doesn't like it on because it cries all the time.
