Needs to be more durable
My 4 year old daughter received two of these dolls for Christmas and I don't know if she is just too young to be playing with them,but she managed to break the fins off the tail on BOTH dolls! She really enjoyed playing with them for the short time she had them though. I just feel bad that $30 was invested into something she won't be playing with anymore.=(
Lovely doll
My four-year-old daughter loves princesses and mermaids. She saw this doll while shopping with her gift certificate and thought it would be perfect for her. She definitely loves it. I think the doll looks great - the hair is nice and thick and the colors they chose are great. I'm not sure what one part is for - like a half-ring - but the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
My child loves this mermaid
I purchased this Barbie Splash and Style Mermaid (purple) for my daughter for her birthday. This is all she plays with. Since watching H20 on Nick TV; That is the only toys she wants. Finally a mermaid that plays as if she is really a mermaid. We hope to see mores toys of this nature in the future. Hear/read that all you toy companies???? What a hit with all the little girls if there were alot more selections to choose from. Will be a HOT toy for SANTA to bring for your little girl(s). Don't wait and don't think twice to purchase one. If you wait until November, you will miss out!!!! EXCELLENT TOY by far.
